Elivs?? Tak-a-shima?? Watta???

WHO do you suppose they are lining up to see?? I have no idea, it is all written in Japanese. The only part of it I can understand is todays date. But let me tell you the young girls have been lining up all morning long. They stand in the most 'controlled' line, and they were waving at SOMEONE?? I am not sure, they just happened to be doing that when I went out on my balcony to take their pictures. I will have to get to the bottom of this,, hard to tell what they are doing !!
